Would not recommend. He preformed an unnecessary surgery that will set me back for almost a year. The surgery was to remove bone spurs and hardware from a previous ankle fracture. He led me to believe he would be able to help me live a more pain free active lifestyle with a surgical procedure but that was not the case. He took his time with the initial consult but at both follow up appointments he was in and out as quick as he possibly could not giving me time to ask necessary questions or explain what I should expect for th... read more
Dr Salamon is , in my opinion....TERRIFIC. I have been seeing him for 10 years. Never lets me down and always concerned about my wellbing. I had a serious foot injury 10 years ago. He was highly recommended by a local Orthopedic Dr and he was right! From time to time I need him. My only complaint it takes a week or two to get an appointment. I wish the practice had a way for patients to communicate with the Doctors.
Great! Office staff was courteous and efficient. I was seen promptly and he addressed my non-surgical issue quickly and efficiently.
He squeezed me in for a broken/shattered foot. Had me in surgery the next day. Gentle with injury. Gave clear visual description of injury and plan to repair. Listened to my preference on not using pain meds and offed an anesthetic pain block to get me through the worst with no more than Advil.
Dr Salamon was quick, knowledgeable, and easy to understand.
So far my plantar fasciitis is good after my January surgery. I fell on my knee in April. Waiting to go in to see what the MRI will tell him. If I need surgery I will, without a doubt, have him do it. I just hope I do not have to wait weeks for it!
Dr. Salamon was very upbeat and personable, he diagnosed my injury and treated it on the spot. I would highly recommended him to any one having an injury referred to as trigger finger.
The interaction with the physician was very positive, however, the front desk staff and I had privacy issues. It was elevated to a supervisor and solved successfully.
Horrible! Do not go to him for foot surgery!! I went in for bunion correction & he straightened my other toes. He said that my foot would be great after my surgery & now it’s worse than before. He took out my knuckles on 3 toes & fused them together & NEVER told me he was doing that!!!! I can only wear tennis shoes now. I went back to him twice to see if he could correct what he had done & he said there’s nothing he can do.
