Friends from out of area travelled to Salamander on my recommendation and stayed three nights. I joined them for Sunday brunch and Sunday dinner. Staff was very friendly and accommodating as they were during my stay two years ago. However, wait staff in wine bar/grill was extremely slow in taking orders and serving food and drinks. Some courses that we were served were very good, especially the desserts, others were not served at proper temperature and were not tasty. Awesome place; awesome service; awesome amenities; awesome overall experience! Take advantage of the spa services (couples try the Rasul treatment)! Also, the Golden Grill offers a s'mores kit to take to the fire pit(s). Great for singles, couples and/or families!

My fiance and I stopped by the resort to walk around, drink some wine, and enjoy the luxury of the resort. We are getting married in October, and my parents are gifting us a night's stay some time after the happy day. I cannot wait to stay here! It is so beautiful and peaceful, and the service is excellent from what I experienced. We sat in the library and played chess and drank wine. It was lovely!
