I read the prior review and my heart aches for that woman's experience because mine was the exact opposite. I have been fortunate to travel to many beautiful resorts and hotels throughout this country and overseas. The facility, service, and general experience of staying here far exceeded any prior hotel experience I've had. Our room was beautiful! The grounds, exquisite! The service, superb! Salamander Resort & Spa is simply breath taking - Highly recommended
The staff was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The sumptuous room and bathroom exceeded our expectations. The lobby/bar and library were great gathering spaces. Love the firepits! We'll be back - still need to visit the spa!

Lovely resort but the rooms are way overpriced. Spa was fabulous and so was food. Staff is incredible.
