Very pleasant dining Really nice atmosphere and good food. Good size portions and excellent service. Pasta dishes are especially good here. You can get a table without reservation.

This place is great! They have an exhaustive wine list, the food quality is top notch, and the staff is friendly and courteous. The bread and garlic butter are to die for. Slightly pricey for the area, but well worth it for what you get!
Sal e Pepe - Excellent Food! Sal e Pepe Restaurant, located on South Main Street in Newtown Connecticut serves the MOST delicious Italian food. And it's not your stereotypical pasta drenched in red sauce. I almost always order from the specials menu where there is sure to be something delicious: roast pork, lobster ravioli, the crabcake appetizer is fantastic.
