Always fabulous fresh high quality fish for sushi and sashimi- excellent restaurant and excellent service.
Another fabulous meal at Sakura tonight. Our server, Lillian, was THE best! Not only did she have a 16 person party to tend to along with her other tables, she gave us her full attention. Food was delicious, as always. My favorite restaurant in Gastonia!😄
Sad to say our favorite little spot is going down hill. We have eaten here for years and the last few times have been disappointing. We were there last Saturday night and they ran out of shrimp sauce. Two waiters working on a very busy evening and no clean soup spoons. One sushi chef so orders for sushi came a good bit later than regular menu items. It’s like the owners have forgotten about this little gem now that they have newer endeavors. Best Sushi ever!
Services was really good and so was the appetizers but the food was just your average Hibachi, miso soup was really butter tasting.
My favorite food! Can’t beat the teriyaki chicken!!
I really want to thank our server, Heather, for her kind service tonight. Our 9 month old had a complete meltdown and we ended up having to get our food to go. She was so thoughtful and understanding. She had already cleaned off the high chair for us and been so great to begin with and when we had to evacuate, she was really kind to my husband after I fled the scene with an irate child. Consistent quality of food & service for the past decade I've been eating there. Definitely miss this place since I moved to GA. Was pleased with my meal & service last night. Love that it's atmosphere is generally quiet & low-key.
