Good Sushi This is probably the Sushi restaurant that has been around longest in Ridgewood- And there is certainly a reason for that. The sushi is fresh and always good. The prices are reasonable. The place is cute and the people incredibly friendly. The one con is parking in Ridgewood- But that is not the fault of this place. You may have to walk a bit to get here but it is well worth it. This place can get very busy- especially on a Friday or Saturday night. PROS: good prices and fresh sushi CONS: parking
Good Japanese Food There is good sushi and sashimi here. This was one of the first place I came to when I first moved to New Jersey. It is on the outskirts of town, but very easy to find. It is good but nothing extra ordinary.

Sakura Bana Restaurant is nice I like their box lunches. They used to be the only jap restaurant in Ridgewood and we would only go there. Now there are too many other better places I think. They are still good but always too crowded.
