Had a Groupon to SakeZake. Ordered 60$ worth of sushi. First the sushi was horrible and the rice was cooked wrong. Second used the 30$ groupon. A few days later noticed I was charged the full 65$ and so far they have refused to call or answer my phone call. They owe me 30$. Very disappointed.
Horrible Sushi Worse Service – The worst sushi I have ever had! I purchased a groupon here, and was excited to try it. Before going here, we went to a local wine tasting where it was unanimous, do not go there, go to Kawa instead. Wanting to use our Groupon, we went here and had Mike as our waiter, nice guy initially turned not so friendly when confronted about quality. We ordered the rock and roll and grenade. Can't be better!! – finally found a best sushi place in noth suburb!!! Actully sakezake is the best sushi place i ever tried & can't believe i've not been here before. try their caterpillar roll OMG! its AWESOME!! staffs, foods, music everything was perfect! can't be better!! Highly recommended.
Worst Sushi Ever! – We did the chef's picks. All the seafood had ice crystals in it. The hot tea was 3.00 a cup! It was all over priced for being frozen still. Not fresh at all. Service was so so! Waitstaff seemed inconvienced by asking for anything.
Great Specialty Rolls – For the best rolls and sushi in the north burbs and chicagoland this is it! The freshest fish and unique specialty maki make it one of my favorite places to go to dine. Really chilled out and exciting atmosphere. And the dishes were A++ on presentation, attentive staff, great music keeps me coming back for more always. You must try their Catapillar roll and Nikko Maki absolutly the best. Kaiso salad, Usuzakuri, Asparagus Beef, Gyoza, and their martini's are definitly worth a try also.
