I often eat alone, I came to Sake at 4:45 and was finished by 5:50. I had 2 interactions with my waitress. One when she sat me and another when she presented me with the check. In that time I was out of beverage for 35 mins and actively trying to get my waitress. The restaurant was 1/3 capacity. Maybe a good place for birthday parties but it is not recommended for single diners.
My family and I had dinner here last night and there was a chipped piece of GLASS in my little brothers fried rice. We told our server, who then told the manager, and they gave him a complimentary fried rice. We were then told that we needed to pay for not only his meal, but the complimentary rice as well. After my step dad said he did not want to pay for a meal containing glass, Nancy, the owner, tried to say that WE had planted the glass in there in hopes of getting a free meal out of it....I come to sake cafe at least onc... read more
RecommendedIt is truly one of the great places in Pensacola to eat: service, sushi, hibachi, and seafood udon are off the charts. Grab a cold unfiltered saki for a great treat.
The sushi is average at best. My son did like the salmon bento box and my daughter did like her yaki udon. However, we waited forever. I mean over 40 minutes for really average food. Plus $83 for lunch was a bit much for what we got. My wife and daughter are return customers, but not my son and I.
The best sushi and Japanese cuisine ever!
