family was in the ER overnight....called for nurse no response for 45 to 50 min...ended up using restroom on self...stayed overnight in ER but only saw staff twice all night....will only return to this location under the threat of DEATH. worst hospital visit we have ever experienced...would never recommend this facility.
RecommendedI went to the ER today after being very sick for two weeks and after multiple Drs visits and many different medications I continued to get weaker and worse. They got my into a room as quick as possible and the nurses were incredibly sweet to me and explored any possible route of care. After a couple hours they had diagnosed me, treated what they could, and called in the medication needed. I recently went to Saint Thomas Rutherford for an emergancy galblader surgery. Was so very pleased. From the ER staff, pre op staff, surgery staff, post op staff, house keeping and diatery they were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of. So to all the staff that worked on 5/30/19- 5/31/2019 yall rock. Expecially the fourth floor staff (since that is where i spent most my time) you ladys made me feel right at home. My granddaughter was delivered today. KIM the Labor and Delivery nurse is top notch 100% they dont make em like her anymore. My son and his Fiance are young and she was patient, understanding, and truly treated us like we where her own. Every employee we encountered was wonderful but that KIM IN LABOR AND DELIVERY IS TOP NOTCH.
I have to say in the eleven days my husband has been in this hospital, we have had the best nurses ever. He was admitted through ER . The doctors were great . The only complaint I would have is the time waiting in ER and the parking is terrible. Definitely needs improvement. I have SLE and have only been able to find a handicap space twice. Yesterday I had to crawl in the back of my van due to someone had parked so close to the car. I had my son here and literally every person I encountered in the maternity ward was the most accommodating, helpful person ever.
they are a good hospital except for this which i posted on Twitter: @StThomas_Health if u r not 4 profit, why was i charged nearly $1500 for an ER visit that consisted of a dr looking at my wife for 5 mins, giving her a pain killer & script for more & nothing else #ripoff, also included a $250 charge for an EKG - $1119 balance bill sent 2 me #SMH
I was seen in the emergency room and waited four hours to be seen. I was treated in the hallway and had a test done and was admitted for four days. The best was actually comfortable but some staff didn’t like their jobs and that’s bad when you are a patient. I still had a good experience and the doctors were great. I got much better very quickly.
Horrible ER!! Stay as far away as possible! 2 visits for emergency issues in 10 months-both were a joke! 1st for excruciating back pain. 6 hours and multiple tests later told it was scar tissue and post surgical issues (I’ve never had back surgery), given 2 prescriptions for medicines I am HIGHLY allergic too (which they knew given the wristband they put on me, and a referral to a dr who wouldn’t see me without insurance which is how I ended up in the ER in the first place!
