I cannot say enough, amazing things about this beautiful organization. They lovingly took such wonderful care of my father who passed away last Wednesday. They provided amazing care and love to all of us! We are so grateful and blessed to have had him there in his final days.
My dad spent the last couple of months of his life in hospice care at St Therese at St Odilia. He was taken care of wonderfully. He was safe and well cared for the entire time, and the staff was amazing, kind and compassionate. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful. I'm very grateful for everything they did for my dad and our family.
What an amazing place. They took wonderful care of my Dad at his end of life, the nurses were so knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, professional, and were always so nice and accommodating to us. The aides were wonderful too, you can really tell they love their job and do it because it's their calling. The facility itself is also wonderful, lots of common areas and separate dining and bedroom area upstairs if family needs it. All around A+ experience.
I know of 3 people who were in the St. Odilia residence who died unexpectantly after being there less than 48 hours, due to too much sedation. I wonder if there are others who have had a similiar experience. One in particular did not respond after a worker stated he was upset and had to have ativan, haldol and even morphine to help him "settle down "and yet NO phone call to a family member who really cared and would have been there in less than an hour, one who might have helped.
