I would like to say that from arriving in the ED, to my operation, to my recovery, I was taken care of 100%. The ED staff was professional, gracious, kind and caring. They took care of me like I was their family. I wanted for nothing, I was kept comfortable and well informed of my condition and procedures. My OR team was also professional, caring and spot on. I would give a zero if I could. During a surgery, St. Peter's failed to update my address. Now I am getting sued and having debt collectors after me even after I called several times to reconcile. Not worth it.
VERY upset with St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick NJ. LIARS. After a visit to the E.R. (which was extremely overcrowded that evening) I received a bill which included a "medical exam" by a "doctor." After waiting about 6+ hours, I was finally in a room. A nurse came in, gave I.V. fluids and some meds. Finally a P.A. popped her head in between the curtain and asked me a few questions. She never touched me, she never examined me. 40 seconds later, she walked out. I am being CHARGED over $600 for a medical exam w... read more

IDO NOT GO! II could give the ER staff less stars I would. And honestly after what my daughter was just put through I would like to report them all! They should not be working as nurses or anything else in medicine! They treated her like a druggy because she was in so much pain from appendicitis and left in a corner to the point where her appendix almost burst before her surgery hours later! I had eyelid surgery this morning. I am a big baby with zero tolerance for pain. The nurses and Dr. Blaydon were amazing. I was so scared but they put me at ease and I have had no pain or discomfort since leaving the center. I highly recommend their services. Veda Mendoza
Not only will they harass family members, their neglect led to my mother developing multiple stage IV bed sores. They lied and said they were unpreventable but I've been treating and dealing with wounds for a decade now and know that to be 100% untrue. Further, since her discharge we've made a lot of progress healing the wounds they let develop and magically she hasn't developed any new ones (even though they are 'inevitable', per the liars in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit).
