I went into the emergency room and was seen by Dr. Bowser. Dr. Bowser made it blatantly obvious that he had no time, energy, or care for my issues. He blew off my issues after I asked for a variety of different options and requested a number of tests to be safe instead of assuming I have “anxiety issues” which is something that has not ever existed, and currently does not exist. I admit I was about 10 minutes late for my appointment with Dr Bernard; partially because I was in pain and having trouble walking (my reason for being there ). I understand why I had to reschedule but I didn't appreciate the unfriendly condescending attitude of the staff. I felt more like I was being chastised for being late than just being asked to reschedule. I work in customer service. Clients are always often late. You can either accommodate them or not. I was rushed to the ER because I passed out and was unconscious, while getting triaged I came to and told them I felt I was going to pass out again, they forcibly stood me up out of the wheel chair and basically pushed me to the waiting area, where there wasn't much supervision. I could have passed out again and potentially not woke back up, DO NOT COME HERE! Shawnee Mission is so much better! Disgusting disgraceful behavior, and the triage lady had a HUGE attitude.

At the ER for severe abdominal pain, waiting close to 2 hrs but no one cares getting the patient admitted, all they say is we do not have a bed/ room. A multi speciality hospital with not enough ER beds/ rooms is pathetic in a prime location like OP. Update: we took a step and visited Menorah ER which is few blocks away and they admitted within minutes and then Dr's took good care there, underwent a surgery in next few hours. Everything was perfect @Menorah right from admission to discharge the next evening.
