Just finished a very pleasant medical experience here to be assessed for strep throat which was confirmed as positive. The medical assistant at the desk had the efficient mindset of pulling me from the wait area to be strep swabbed while I waited for the room to be available, so that way the provider knew the results as soon as it was my turn. Tried to be seen tonight as a walk in tonight because I was miserable and sick at 5:45 and was told they are full and could not see me! Went to the St.Lukes in PARKVILLE and was told be Deanna that they are not supposed to turn me away. They took care of me at 6:18pm in Parkville and they closed at 7 too! Seems like they just didn’t want to deal with me even though they accept walk-ins. The Saint Lukes in Parville stated they would be notifying someone too since this shouldn’t have happened.
I’m beyond frustrated. I called ahead to make sure they were open in the snow storm. Talked to Nicole on the phone. She said yes and got my information. Once I got there she said they don’t take my insurance. I offered to pay cash and still was declined. I wish she would have simply asked on the phone who my insurance company was before driving on these awful roads.
I just received some of the best short term medical care, I've ever had. I couldn't get in with my primary care physician for awhile so I went to this clinic. I read reviews and was honestly hesitant to come in. I scheduled a time (it looks like they are on a 24-hour cycle so at 8:00 p.m. the night before the schedule is open at 8:00 a.m. for the next morning) the night before and came in. Usually I get decent care here however I tried to walk in today and they just kept redirecting me to make an appointment. I re-stated I wanted to walk in and thought they took walks ins and they said that they do take walk ins. Front desk agrees to check me in and then yelled me to come back in two hours for my 1:45 appt. Long story short, they do not actually take walk ins despite advertising that they do.
