Had a Hemicolectomy with resection. The doctors and nurses were very attentive to my medical and personal needs. Helpful and polite right down to the young man that cleaned my room. Great experience, will have no problem recommending St.Lukes and will definitely return there for any other procedure in the future.
Don't expect a callback or to get a message in your portal, probably won't happen. I have waited as long as a week and a half with no response. And you may not get results from your tests either, I have been waiting a month to hear about my cardiac pet results.My doctor doesn't follow through on promises to send notes on clearance to work additional hours either. Very, very knowledgeable and very polite. You are not just a number. Side note: Dr Perez, cardiologist graduated from a medical school in Texas known for their graduates being in 'Top 2 percent Nation Wide.' As we all know, all schools do not always turn out high performers. So I personally recommend Dr. Perez who practices Cardiology at St. Lukes North Hosp on N W Barry Rd. Polite hint to all persons: The life you save will be your own.
