I was recently hospitalized for a hypertensive crisis. The staff was extraordinarily supportive and helpful. The building itself is nasty. I had to use the lobby restroom to leave a urine specimen and Walk the specimen to the OTHER side of the lobby push the glass open and leave it. Talk about CROSS CONTAMINATION. I ARRIVED at 3:30 and was admitted to room 246….. the sheets were clean (I hope) the room however was NEVER cleaned from the previous occupant. Extremely long wait times. Been here since 9:20 in the morning trying to get my mom dialysis. We've been waiting in the lobby for 8 HOURS. They did an ekg, bloodwork and Xray and no one has comes to us with an update. The intake lady has been trying to communicate with the dialysis treatment area to see what is the hold up. Even she said, it doesn't make sense how long they are taking. This is ridiculous and people that came in HOURS AFTER us have already been seen and called back and some released. UNACCEPTABLE!
If you don't care about your loved ones, send them here to die! So much miss management, miss organization, ignorance of patient needs and requirements. Mickey mouse joint from top to bottom. Not necessarily the staffs issue, as they seem to try.
