Kind and friendly; the counselors have good advice with the best intentions in mind.
Detox program is horrible. They don't give proper referrals for dual diagnosis, they ignore complex cases with long term benzodiazepine use and medically gaslight you about it saying it takes less than a week for years of use. They want a quick 5 day and out for the insurance money. Saw some woman in there get taken out for insanely high blood pressure while people were nodded out for days.
