Do yourself a favor and go to any other hospital that takes your insurance. I went to the emergency room for bad ankle pain where I was charged 4 separate times as I can see on my healthcare app. One for $800, another for $700, $400, and $27 for my actual x ray. My insurance deductible is 1.3k, so guess who got stuck with most of those bills. Worst hospital ever My son was attacked by another patient causing him to have a fractured skull and bleeding brain. Hospital was negligent and did nothing to prevent it. They also lost all my son's belongings including his brand new phone They refused to transfer him to uic as well Lawsuit coming!
Went to see the orthopedic doctor “only one found accepting new walk in patient and accepted my health plan” Although this is an old building is very clean I arrived early and find easy free parking they also had a valet parking, Cafeteria was nice with this great classic omelette, waffle very varied and a great coffee. Some that’s impressed me was they have a lady on the hallway greeting you and offering if they can help you with anything. I don't have words to describe how terrible & unsafe this hospital is. It needs to be shut down. Please do not come here. If you need to go somewhere around the area go to Mount Sinai. I fear for the safety of the people who are patients here. Its a very high risk to keep this hospital open. Very short staffed and they don't care. Nurses are treated like trash and this place does not care about nurse burn out nor healthy staffing ratios. Do not bring your family here. Do not deliver your baby here.
