I was supposed to see a doctor for a surgical consultation. I arrived and discovered that they had my medical records confused with someone else's. They were able to resolve that issue. But that wasn't exactly reassuring. Then, instead of seeing the surgeon, I was examined by an NP. He was a nice guy and did a great job. At the end of the day, I guess I have no trouble with that, and his demeanor and professionalism is the only reason this isn't a one star review. Dr. Reising is very knowledgeable about Gastroparesis and other diseases/conditions that can be developed along with it. He answered questions I had regarding a possible surgery for assistance and made me aware of additional options that might be better suited for me.
If you are contemplating weight loss surgery the program at St. Alphonsus is the place to go. Dr. Reising and the team are excellent. He explains everything, makes sure you are prepared for surgery and success. I went through the program and surgery and lost over 200 pounds.
