My family recently experienced one of the most difficult moments of our lives when my brother was admitted to the ICU at St. Alphonsus in Nampa after a drug overdose. I want to give huge thanks to this hospital for the amazing care my mother received and a special exclusive shoutout to an employee named Cole Bounds. He is naturally one of the most kind people I have ever met. He treated my mom like a great friend rather than a chore or an obligated objective. I’ve worked in psych for a decade and I thought I had serotonin syndrome a couple of months ago (when my dumb self tried to self-titrate back onto another antidepressant), and was figuratively laughed out of the ER. I was twitching/tremulous, having spasms, shaking, couldn’t urinate, and even fell trying to get into the exam chair.
