Sailrite provides clear online video directions on how to set the machine up, adjust, and maintain it. I am very happy so far with everything about the sewing machine and the company.
I bought the 40 mil clear plastic to re-do my 3 pc. windshield on my sea-ray 290. With the recommendation chart you provided I was able to select the correct needle and thread for my home machine and every thing worked out, just remember your plastic needs to be on top and your fabric needs to be on the bottom when you sew, and also you need a walking foot to help out, keep it taught as its walking and you will be fine. I've used Sailrite several times now and have completed 2 sailpacks for my older ketch. Next project is to do the bimini and they just shipped the materials. They have very good phone service that I have used to add to orders before the online order shipped. They are happy to help save a little money and even gave me a discount I wasn't aware of.
Sailrite always provides efficient service. It is obvious there are human beings with heart running this outfit.

I'm so thrilled with the final product! I found a fabulous vintage fabric and they created a beautiful cushion and pillows. They kept in contact with me throughout the process and were a pleasure to work with. Everything arrived today and I couldn't be more happy. I wish I could post a photo. I recommend Sailrite strongly for any cushion needs!
