Purchased a new to me Pontoon Boat & Trailer from Tyler. Super Clean Boat at a fair price. Good communication setting up appointment. Took boat to lake to let us test drive. Came to agreement on the spot. Even met us on a Sunday for pickup and paperwork, including notary. Small issue with trailer that couldn’t be handled on a Sunday. Took him at his word he would make it right and he did, reimbursing me for the issue.

After almost 12 months of back and forth with our boat and the “work” done our boat, the bottom of our boat we had painted by them looks like crap and the gauges we were having them fixed still do not work. I am only giving 3 stars vs 1 because Tyler took the boat he sold us back into his shop twice to fix it. Sold us a "lake ready boat" with a brand new motor in it. 1st trip out it overheated in 5 min due to the wrong size impeller being installed. 2nd time out it blew about 2 qts of oil into the bilge. 3rd time out it is still acting like it wants to die upon acceleration. Third or fourth experience with Tyler and Sailaway Bay. I continue to be impressed with the quality of the service I've gotten every time. High customer focus and he knows his stuff. He's worked on my Mercruiser 260 and more recently on our Suzuki 200 and each time, we know that the right work will be done on a timely basis and for a very fair price. We really recommend Sailaway Bay and Tyler Murphy for your boating needs.
