Dr. Saiki is wonderful. She has helped me now with two of my beloved pets passing by providing in-home euthanasia and making the process of cremation so much easier and less stressful. She treated my pets with so much reverence and carried them out each time in a really nice velvet-lined basket. She also allowed us to send a few personal things with each of our pets after she was done. She is kind, professional, and has come the same day within a few hours both times I have called her. We discovered Dr Saiki during the pandemic-she is very efficient, gives pracrtical advice & takes good care of our pets. Her assistant, Alan, is great!-
Not compassion or empathy, I had her scheduled and after texting back and forth her negative demeanor surfaced. When I simply asked about carrying my dog out on my own to the vehicle (like I had done with my previous dog l) she had the gall to say “ we have to put here in a plastic bag… makes her difficult to carry. Let me do what I think works best. Been doing it for decades” I decide led I did not want her anywhere near my dog. I found the best place with empathy and compassion. I’ve had Dr Saiki as my vet since 2020. She’s treated 4 of my cats, including 2 older ones, through all sorts of issues, including allergies and stage 3 kidney disease. Not only is it convenient to have your vet come to you, it’s so nice to be with your pet the entire time (with masks as needed during COVID). I appreciate how Dr Saiki is straightforward and very communicative. She responds to my emails extremely quickly and helped me with at home euthanasia for my older cat with very short notice.
