If you have SAIF and get injured plan on going without needed medical care unless you have private insurance and you can get the surgery you need. That is how they save so much money and have billions is by screwing over injured workers. Also they will starve you and your family to death. You need a lawyer and cash in any retirement you have. Don’t give up the fight. Evil corporate people. The worst.

If I could I would give safe less than one star because they fight you on everything they deny all your claims I had my achilles attendant cut at work and suffer from a nerve disorder because of it and they deny the nerve disorder they deny everything they will not work with you they want to lowball you on the amount of money they want to give you for your injury they just want to get you in and out as quick as possible so they don't have to pay for anything safe is absolutely the worst I would not go through them for anythi... read more

Sustained a severe disabling injury on the job, SAIF is the industrial carrier. They started by avoiding my calls to their office and then claimed they tried to contact me many times, lies. Throughout the claim my claim manager is next to impossible to reach by phone and my request for an email address to communicate with them has been ignored and denied. They keep messing with my time loss changing the dispersal date and the amounts then claiming an over payment. Everything takes a month or more to complete, everything. Now... read more

I am the director of a health care clinic. We do not use SAIF for our worker's comp insurance because they do not support their clients when someone is injured. We have been billing SAIF for worker's comp treatments for 10 years or more and we have never been paid in full by them. Most of the time that means that the injured person has to stop receiving treatment because SAIF won't do what they are paid to do - pay for injured worker's medical appointments.

I ran my thumb up against a table saw blade at work, thank the stars i still have it attached! Saif went above and beyond making the whole experience as “painless” as possible. Was unable to perform my job for 3 months and they didnt miss a beat as far as covering my pay checks and medical bills!! Guess everyone has an opinion but i really dont understand these negative reviews. SAIF is all about their clients and will absolutely go the extra yards for you. My agent was Kristi Kaminski was fantastic to work with!
