Food amazing service good except the waitress (Shifa) rude. Was told she said she doesn't like Black people which is fine but probably shouldn't work in Detroit.

⭐️ 1-Star Review — I Felt Discriminated Against and Unwelcome I had an extremely upsetting experience at this restaurant. I walked inside because I needed to use the bathroom, and I was planning to come back and purchase food afterward. Until the host stopped me, I was simply walking in like any other customer. Had a reservation for 5:30 and were there on time. Took walk ins before they even sat us. After sitting us, two tables who were sat after us got bottled water, bread, beets. We still waited for another 25 min with no one acknowledging us. Ended up walking out and going across the street to Frita Batidos which had a line and still got food and sat before we would have at Sahara. Do not bother going. Three friends and I went here yesterday for dinner. Food was amazing. Service was… less so. My biggest shock came later though when realizing that our small party of four had gratuity added to our bill without us being told by our server. Our bill was not outrageous either. No one had more than one drink and we split a few apps and an entire.
