Been here many times and normally pretty good - was disappointed this go round. Food was just OK and service not very good.
The atmosphere was fun, however the food wasn't great. I had the tuna melt. The bread was dry and the cheese was hard...�. I was with friends and had been riding all day so I washed it down with a beer.
It was a pretty cool place. I liked the history behind the place and it was interesting that we were eating in a jail. I got an elk burger and I have never had one before. It was pretty good. The fries reminded me of my dad's fries but they weren't as good. Our fan above us was not working so they tried to fix it. But couldn't so they moved us. Very nice service.
We enjoy your restaurant on our trips to Grand Lake and for fast service and town ambiance we often order to go at the bar and eat on the picnic table outside the bar. The Cesar Salmon is always excellent and thank you for the Gluten Free options and bread.
