Our toddler has been doing speech therapy through Sage for the last few months. From the initial evaluation with AnneMarie to the speech sessions he has been doing with Kayde we have been thrilled. Overall, his speech has exponentially grown and we can understand what he is saying--which allows us to nurture his love of speaking at this young age. This review is not directly related to the individuals employed here or the quality of services rendered but rather an overall review of the group based on my interactions with the founder, Saren Schapiro. Based on my conversations with Saren, I found her to be rude, condescending and, quite simply, ignorant. We cannot express how incredibly grateful we are for Annamarie Blair at SAGE Speech. Annamarie's skill, technique, and patience has dramatically improved our toddler's speech, and in turn his confidence. Her depth of knowledge and training in fluency has been clear from day one. She provides precise guidance in person, coupled with easy to execute homework, which has allowed for vast improvements. Chris medcalf has been my son’s speech therapist for over a year and has been absolutely amazing. My son has had many therapists (SLP, OT, ABA) and Chris is 12/10 the best therapist we’ve ever had for him. She truly cares and goes above and beyond. Sage speech is so incredibly lucky to have her on their team. If we had to, we would drive an hour to see her! (But thankfully we only have to drive 30 mins!)
