A well known and popular breakfast spot that has been in business for many years. Large menu with huge breakfast selection. Generally good food, could be considered "greasy spoon" style. Like many establishments in recent years both front and back of the house staff seem to care a lot less, I got a massive quantity of egg shells in my Eggs Benedict last visit. Willing to pass it off as a bad day for the cook. I'll update once I return for a better meal.
Honestly, I was expecting more. I was really excited for this restaurant. But we called before we got there to see if we can make reservations, check the wait time, etc. immediately the waitress that answered, short answered everything we asked. “Can we make a reservation” “no” ok, what’s the wait time “30-60 min” ok thank you! *click* no thanks for calling, have a nice day, or even a goodbye. This restaurant has been recommended to me by several people, so I called to ask whether they take reservations. Unfortunately, the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude and condescending from the start. When I asked whether I could put my name down over the phone, she simply said, “No,” and hung up on me. I understand being busy.
