Following a fall and injury that required 24 hour care and a long recovery period, Sage Oak was a welcome and exceptional place for my mom. She was well taken care of by every staff member who did so much more than just meet her needs. They were loving, professional, caring, and went out of their way to accommodate her special requests. Our family was fortunate to have a safe haven for our mom when she couldn’t be at home, and I will forever be grateful for how they supported her AND our family, educating us along the way.
I can only speak about the Memory Care portion of Sage Oak. My mother and her sister are residents there. As far as I am concerned, this is the best Memory Care facility in this area. People with dementia/Alzheimer’s can be difficult to handle, but the nurses and caregivers and, even the chefs, do a really good job taking care of them. The food is always fantastic and the facility always smells good. Shoutouts to Nurse Jasmyne, Chefs Xavier and Ebony, all the caregivers and Ms Lovely.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Marsha Perkins while helping coordinate a special nurse appreciation Breakfast, and I was truly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the facility felt clean, welcoming, and well cared for. What stood out most was the staff. Chef Lawrence of House 2 prepared a wonderful Easter meal of lamb chops, sweet potatoes and carrots. The food was amazing! Better than the restaurants in town! Even better, he and the staff of House 2 are all wonderful, caring people.
House 6 has the best nurse and caregivers. All the staff is nice and helpful.
