I’ve had the opportunity to visit and volunteer at Sage Oak many times, and there is always so much life in this community. The residents are loved, engaged, and truly known by the people caring for them. You can see the thought that goes into the activities, celebrations, meals, and all the little touches that make it feel like home. It’s a special place with a lot of heart, and I would feel confident recommending Sage Oak to any family looking for a community for someone they love.

I’d like to comment specifically on the maintenance department at Sage Oak. Joey and Ariel have been taking care of everything my dad has needed in his room since he moved in almost a year ago. When we had to transfer my dad from one house to another for a care need increase, they moved every single thing, including the pictures we had hung on the walls, to his new room before dad got there. WOW!!! Top-notch service from Joey and Ariel. They truly care about the residents and want them comfortable, safe, and at ease!

My 89-yr-old mother was in Sage Oak after a fall. I was so impressed by the level of care and consideration the staff provided for my mother. She is a very picky eater, and the cook would make another meal for her frequently, because she didn't like what was being served. He was so sweet about it. She also was able to keep her dog with her, which was very important to her. The staff was very friendly and went above the norm to care for her needs. We had mom their twice and both times her health declined.I wouldn't recommend Sage Oak for anyone. Upfront seems like a great place but if you parent starts having any physical problems they won't know what to do,they failed when my mom had UTI and when her kidneys started going down.When fluids started building up and they did nothing,which caused huge bed sores on her feet. After trying two other memory care facilities, my husband moved to Sage Oak. It's the best memory care in SWLA!! Everything at Sage Oak is wonderful!! The living spaces, the caring staff, and the delicious meals are all top notch!! You should go see what they have to offer! Thank you so much Sage Oak!!
