Delicious healthy food! Recommend it
While on a visit to see our son in Durango, we stopped by this restaurant to pick up sandwiches on our way to have a picnic. Located on the main drag leading out of town toward Silverton, it seems popular. There is a small parking lot that we were fortunate enough to find spot close to the door. I ordered a "pick 2" meal and the portion size was bigger than expected! Tempeh BLT was AMAZING and the thai peanut salad was really good too. And a vegan chocolate cookie for later, delicious. Lovely to have healthy, fresh options and accommodating for different dietary needs. I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately the customer area was not up to cleanliness standards. Soda machine area was messy, booth had lots of crumbs, and the high chair we used for our baby seemingly hadn't been wiped down for quite a while.
I have a gluten and dairy severe sensitivity, and this is my go to for fast healthy and tasty food when I travel to Durango. Build your own salad or grain bowl with tons of toppings, Chipotle style (or they have options they've pre-defined).
