I'm a retired Clinical Psychologist. Professional is not at Sage Dental. They put making money before professionalism. I found one dental assistant who was the only caring person. Their 'marketing is less than professional but profitable.
Sage Dental is an Insurance Mill. Went in for a cleaning - fully covered in Delta Dental Plan - two a t=year and Sage is in Network. Hygienist did measurements, cleaned, fluoride and floss, but because she told me she wanted me to see a dentist for some of the issues I had, it was billed as a "Hygienist Evaluation" and I was charged a co-pay. Never told me the appointment was being changed or i would have to pay. they will take any path to charge the insurance company and you
I do not recommend this place! Stay away.
I have been in multiple sage dental over the years and never had any problems, but this one in Kissimmee is the worst. Since my first visit, the dentist only evaluate me for 2 minutes and left without saying anything, and didn't even allow me to ask questions about my problem teeth. I wasn't impressed with her but the dental hygienist was friendly, so I gave the benefit of the doubt and scheduled my second visit. Their motto is "We Want You to Love Your Smile," but in reality, all they love is money. Sage Dental is the most unprofessional dental practice I've ever encountered. They overcharged for a crown by $200. My EOB stated as such, and the front office employee told me I must produce an EOB as proof. The office manager argued with me, stating the overage charge was a fee I had to pay that doesn't appear on a bill but I was required to pay.
