I would give Sage Canyon Apartments an 2.5 out of 10. The location is definitely a positive since it is close to ALDI, an elementary school, and MSJC which makes daily errands and school runs convenient. However, the rest of the complex has a lot of issues. The exterior wood panels are ripping apart and look worn down. The stair railings are outdated and unattractive, and the windows feel old and hard to open. The front door is almost somewhat impossible to open because it is jammed. Living here has been a frustrating and uncomfortable experience, and looking back, I wish I had known more about the conditions before moving in. For the price of rent, the level of care and maintenance here is disappointing. Issues like mold, roaches, and even rats make it feel like the property isn’t being properly maintained.
