This company(Safire of the northtowns) has a terrible terrible problem with not only abuse and neglect towards residents but with nepotism. Everyone here is related in some way or another to someone else!! You have an auntie who is the boss of her niece who does a awful job as unit clerk(secretary??) you also have a older brother whose the boss of his little brother as well as another unit clerk whose son AND daughter are both working there and worst of all a payroll/scheduling coordinator whose in charge of her own daughter... read more
I am a former employee of this company and I can honestly say this is the worst nursing home in the state of New York. There are a lot of people who do work here that genuinely care about your loved ones. But all of management and owners care about is the bottom dollar and that means cutting corners and and making residents go without. I can say I was a maintenance guy for this group for two years and I can list off at least 100 times I was denied funds to purchase supplies for the residents in order to fix a bed or fix a ca... read more
You all should be ashamed of yourselves!
Saw a story from the point of view of a disabled old woman who lives there. I am disgusted. I'm not even from America! This place NEEDS to be shut down. Someone please help these poor people stuck in that horrible place!!
Shame on you all those involved, but guess what? KARMA will visit you when older , I wish all of them dying slowly and painfuly , and your family abandoned you like trash can this insident happened in 2018 , and nursing never shut it down
