I really like Safi! I’ve been here a few times now, and I’ll be returning! Everything I’ve had food-wise has been phenomenal! I love the chickpeas and carrots dish, and the blistered shishito peppers are amazing. Those are my favorites, but everything has been wonderful. The zalouk is good, too! The bartender was very knowledgeable about helping us pick our wines. The charcuterie board was delicious and the cherry preserves were a nice surprise. The atmosphere was cozy and the perfect place to wait out a rain storm*
3.5/5. great place, love the concept, will continue supporting. but some areas of improvement...service is hit or miss. really kind people but i sat with an empty wine glass at the bar for too long! also the pricing just is too high but thats true everywhere. mostly just confused why 6 wings are (almost) the same price as a salad & both more expensive than the burger. but honestly i can look past these things. what's tough is the smell. when you walk in it hits you, there's a sewer smell going on and it's really bad. sulphur... read more

It was our second time in since the rebrand from a Moroccan Wine Bar to neighborhood wine bar, and it was rather disappointing, again. I hesitated to write a review after the first visit, because I thought there were maybe just some growing pains with the rebrand.
