It's acquired taste I guess. Not sure I'd try it again... it's different but too strong of spices!
Horrible food. This was my first and last visit to this place. Ordered the day's special for dinner Tonight and had a very disappointing experience with the quality of the food. Gobi Manchurian - 4 big chunks of Cauliflower coated with a sticky undercooked batter topped with a tangy sauce Goat Biriyani - Again from the day's special. It was definitely better than the appetizer above but cant be claimed as biriyani Mali Kofta - This was the worst of all. Tiny soggy cheese balls served in a tangy Tomato soup.
The malai kofta is amazing! Will be back.
I have never been disappointed in Saffron. Best Indian food in Charlotte.

All rice/biryani items were very dry. They had very few items and its not worth a buffet for what I paid. I wish I could rate it less than 1 and I would never make it to Saffron again.
