It was relatively easy to install with the right tools. Looks good, and my wife feels a lot safer getting in and out of the shower now. All in all, kind of a fun project.
Spectacular product and just as impressive are the folks you deal with. Had a cast iron tub. It is a big job but mostly just read the directions and do it step by step. Have all the things they list in the instructions. You will be amazed how well it fits the bill of making your existing tub accessible. My wife fell and suffered two fractured vertebrae. She is 73. She was unable to lift her feet over the existing tub height. Now it’s a small lift over and very for doable Remodeling is expensive and takes time. We needed it n... read more

You WILL NOT be able to use it as a tub afterwards because it removes a TON of width from the tub making it impossible to sit in the bathtub comfortably. You are sandwiched between the side of this thing and the other side of the tub. And it HURTS because you can feel the edge smashing into your hip, and arms. I have one of these and it is a disaster!!! A bathtub is designed for people to sit in the center, and to recline in the center to soak.
