Safeway needs to employ more people to help out. Service time and customer service are sub-standard. I just feel the employees are over worked. For pick up it took me more than 40 mins even though I needed to change it from Tablet to Capsules. Definitely, waste of time for me!! Bumped up to 4 stars. They do provide exceptional service though.
Every experience I've had here has been extremely bad, so much so that I end up procrastinating picking up my (vital) medication until the last possible minute. There is inexplicably a line no matter what time or day I arrive, and employees act as if the concept of their job was just introduced to them that day. There is never any sense of urgency, with employees chatting casually with each other while there are clearly people waiting to be helped. The pharmacist that this location likes to think he’s a doctor. It’s amazing that someone who went to school to learn how to count pills has the power to override my doctors orders..
Always friendly, polite and helpful. Even when they are super busy which they can be. Great staff.
Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Of the several times I've used them, I've never had a smooth interaction. I've been handed the wrong medication, which luckily was caught my a staff who questioned something before I left. I've arrived after being texted my medication was ready only to be told to come back later 3x until it was actually ready.
