Were able to fill a hard-to-find prescription which wasn't available elsewhere (e.g. Walgreens). No line on a Saturday morning, quick and friendly service.
Starbucks refused to let me enter Safeway number and I cannot use my 2 dollar coupon
The pharmacy staff member I just spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude. He asked me if I had active insurance because mine did not go through. I said yes, you refilled my prescription recently and I've had several claims go through in the last week. He raised his voice to me and in a very sarcastic tone said, "Oh, okay, so you don't know. Received multiple texts from Safeway that my prescription was ready for pickup, so took off work and made the 1hr long round trip to pick it up. When I arrived I was told I couldn't pick up the prescription unless my dr had faxed a copy of my 'vitals'. I told them my dr had faxed it 2 days before and let them know I also had a copy. They said they couldn't find the fax or accept the vitals from me. Absolutely maddening. So now I'm without my meds and playing go between the dr and pharmacy with no power to resolve the issue m... read more
