I love Safeway. I'd love to fill out the online surveys when a specific employee really goes above and beyond. EVERY time I try, I get an error message. I've called the store manager to give those employee the recognition they deserve, but without being able to do the surgery, it doesn't go beyond that store manager. Review is about Diana Riggs Just wanted to give a shout out to an amazing lady that works at the St Helens Safeway. This morning around 9:10 I had to run in with a very cranky, tired, teething, terrible two-ing toddler with a double ear infection... I only had a few items to grab but she was done and throwing an all out fit... I only go there if I absolutely have to. I’ll drive to Scappoose Fred Meyers because no matter what time of day it is, it takes 20 minutes to check out at Safeway when you’re only getting 1 or 2 items. Can’t just run in and grab milk real quick. You can at Freddy’s. They need to hire more cashiers and get more lanes. Everyone I talk to complains about this so they’re missing out on a lot of money. And their prices are insanely high!
