I am writing this review that's long overdo. I can't state how grateful I am to safe side chimney. Three years ago, I had installed a chimney liner that was too small as a result black smoke and carbon smoke entered my home in Dec thank God it was during the day safe side came to the rescue. they installed the new liner even though it was on short notice they did an excellent job. went above and beyond because they installed new duct work connecting my furnace and chimney. did not charge me a Penney. you can rely on their ... read more
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience with the "technician" that came to my house. He had a nasty condescending attitude... made crude and disparaging remarks about my age and my race..was yelling and argumentative and when I told him to leave my home, refused to do so. I it.told him to take his equipment and leave...and he said that his assistant had to take the equipment that he does not handle I will never recommend this company as long as they employ such crude and offensive people.
I just paid over $400 to have Safeside Chimney clean my two woodstoves and chimneys outside. Although they ran the vacuum inside, THEY NEVER TOUCHED THE CHIMNEYS or STACKS OUTSIDE - the chimney caps were still filthy and they didn't clean the inside. In fact, they never even went up on the roof. BUT CHARGED ME ANYWAY! I had someone over to investigate a leak and he confirmed - they never did the work. When I called them, they could hardly have cared less .. they didn't even come out to look .. they kust gave me a refund... read more
The service technicians, Derick and his assistant, were extremely professional. They provided videos and pictures as part of the inspection and were very clean in the work that they did. In addition, they were customer focused and friendly. I would recommend Safeside chimney and would use again.
