Years ago I had an extended family member and her young children use the services of Safeplace, Inc. I saw the love and support my family members were given through this amazing organization! Thank you Safeplace, Inc. for your services you provide.
I called seeking help for a family member in real danger I'm from Missouri so I had no idea what supports to give them at 11pm I called the 24/7 hour hotline.The lady that answered the phone assured me that my family member would be okay and to go to the police station they would be able to meet her there no questions asked.The lady lied. when someone is in a abusive relationship and they have the courage to get out the last thing you do is lie I had my family member sat at the police station for no reason they sent her home... read more
I called about something important and the lady that answered the phone yesterday had a rude attitude and kept sighing in the phone while I was talking to her like I wasn't important and I said nothing wrong. Never reaching out for help at this place ever again. And they never answer emails, no matter how important it is. So much for "caring".
