I recently had my windshield replaced and had a wonderful experience. Originally I was scheduled with a different company through my dealership. They were awful with scheduling and communication so I canceled and called USAA to get scheduled with Safelite. I was quickly scheduled and had the work done 2 days later. The tech arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Made an appointment to come to my home. Talked to 5 different people at Safelite. Not a single one said a single thing about needing a driveway to do the work in (Safelite literally replaced my wife’s windshield 2 months ago in the EXACT same spot). Tech calls me that he is on his way. Again, no one says anything about a driveway. Took the day off because they require a 6 hour window for service????????!!?? Tech arrives and tells me oh sorry can’t do the work without a driveway. So now I took a day off of work for literally ... read more
