They've let me schedule appointments four times now and then rescheduled without calling me to let me know the day of. I have yet to get a windshield and it has been 3 weeks.
I had one of the worst customer service experiences with Safelite in Rockville. It took three separate appointments, and they still never managed to replace my car window. The first time, I waited around only to find out the replacement window had never arrived. The second time, the replacement window they ordered came in damaged. By the third appointment, unbelievably, the new window was also damaged. I had my windshield replaced and the tech cracked the side molding. My repair was 9/12. If I read the reviews I would’ve never decided to have Safelite replace my windshield. I’ve called customer care 3 times, still no response from the manager, no update on the replacement for my molding.The worst customer service I’ve encountered.
This was my first time using a windshield repair service, and I chose Safelite after seeing their commercials frequently on TV. I recently got a chip in my windshield while driving on the dusty roads of I-495 near Silver Spring, Maryland, and knew I needed to get it fixed. It took 3 attempts before they had the correct windshield to do the replacement. Local Rockville MD phone for info never answered. When it rolled to a call center I was promised a call within 2-4 hours. Never called me. As I waited for it to be done the last time, I watched 5 people suffer the same frustration of no correct windshield despite appointments. Worst customer service EVER. Deserves no star!
