First of all, it was very easy to file a claim on the State Farm app which sent an approval to Safelite, and then it was equally easy to call Safelite and make an appointment for the windshield replacement. I received several reminders which was helpful since I had an early morning appointment. The technician Irhad was very polite, the replacement was quicker than I had thought and the car was very clean - no signs of any broken glass anywhere! Would definitely recommend Safelite.

Got my windshield replaced and spotted a flaw in the glass. Manager refused to fix it or replace it, stating that such flaws are to be expected because they use cheaper Chinese-manufactured glass and not original parts saying I must pay double for decent quality. Their website says they use ‘the best materials’, but this is clearly not the case. The technician who installed it was professional and quick, but wouldn’t go here if you’re looking to avoid getting cheap glass installed in your car. Try somewhere else first.

This is a bit of a long story. Cracked my windshield on my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. State Farm insurance approved a generic replacement but when the tech came out he told me it has to be an OEM because of the cameras and the callebration problems with my vehicle. My windshield was hit by a rock and cracked on a Thursday. I contacted Safelite on Friday and they were able to get me scheduled for replacement on Monday. Their technician Steven was on-time, professional, and very kind - in spite of having to do the work outside on a 90° day. The replacement was finished in less than an hour and looks perfect. I’ll definitely be using Safelite again in the future (although I hope I never need to!).

I’m updating this review to 4 stars. I finally got a response to this review from Safelite and received the credit. I am not changing this to five stars because I still think it’s ridiculous that I was never allowed to speak to the shop and that no one fr customer service ever called me back. I was very disappointed with the follow up, or lack thereof after my windshield was replaced. The service was fine.
