Great place.
Been there once. The atmosphere feels very stifling.
An absolute port in a storm for someone close who needed help. No judgement, no preaching, they can walk the walk and talk the talk in a mental health crisis. Insightful, practical, compassionate. Indeed this is one part of the piecemeal chaos that is Australia’s mental health care system that REALLY does help. SafeHaven deserves far more funding because its dedicated staff prevent many hospital admissions through timely and proactive interventions. Kogarah team are amazing.
