While the roof eventually passed inspection, there are still visible issues that have not been corrected, including misaligned shingles and other unfinished details. The contractor has returned a few times to fix certain problems, but several areas remain unsatisfactory. Warning: Do not hire this roofer. I don’t understand how this company has 5 stars, because my experience was a nightmare from start to finish. I signed a contract back in May, but the permit wasn’t submitted for over two months. Every time I checked the Miami-Dade permit portal, nothing was filed. When I finally confronted him, he lied about it being submitted and refused to refund my $2,500 deposit. Instead, he blamed another company and said he’d file it himself.
