We spent two nights here on our southbound trip and another two on our way back north. The marina, boatyard, and restaurant were all fantastic! The marina staff were super friendly and helpful, and the marina itself was beautiful with floating docks and a well-maintained facility. On our way north, our second stop, I went to the boatyard to ask about changing my transducer. To my surprise, they had my exact model in stock! We had a wonderful two night stay at Safe Harbor Bluewater . The atmosphere was very family-friendly. Dave (the Marina manager) and the safe harbor staff were very accommodating and professional.. The crew of The Continental Drifter extends our gratitude for the five-star service.
Needing service on our North Pacific 49, we have stopped at Safe Harbor Bluewater Marina twice in the last four months. Both times, their service department (Jimmy, Rush, Alec and Michael) did an excellent job on the several tasks that they were asked to complete involving our SeaKeeper 9 and our Dometic chilled water AC system. We stayed at Safe Harbor Bluewater in Hampton, VA, from April 13-15, 2024. The floating docks are in excellent condition, and the dock hands work together seamlessly, providing some of the best teamwork we’ve experienced. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food with a variety of great options. Be cautious at the fuel dock, as the diesel pump has a very high flow rate. The pool is well-maintained and a nice perk. A great marina. Dave and his team are top notch. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very customer service oriented. Dave fit us in so we could get some work completed. And then we stayed a few extra days because it is a super spot. A big shout out to Dave and his team.
