Hard to state how great they were. Needed a lot of (emergency) electrical work done on my house with a new panel and both interior and exterior work. When we met for the estimate, they were extremely thorough and explained every step of the process. We had already had a quote from another reputable company so based on the professionalism and detail by Safe Electric I was expecting the estimate to be well above the other. We needed a lot of work done - 2 sump pumps replaced, 2 sink faucets replaced along with their supply lines and shut off valves, a toilet repaired, and an outdoor faucet replaced which required a shut off valve to be installed in the basement. It took a day and a half, but the tech team took their time and did things right. They paid attention to the details. The service price was higher, but as the story goes, you get what you pay for and they did very good work.

The work was fine and the service was prompt but beware of the company's sales tactics. We were presented a service contact that was framed as a significant discount off the job. Unfortunately, the discount was equal to the amount you would pay over the life of the service contact. So, there's really no discount. Also, the cost of the service was given to us as per month with a payment plan on a finance contract rather than the total price of the job, similar to car sales.

I highly recommend Safe Electric. Austin is the best… incredible attention to detail and skill replacing our panel and connecting our hot tub. The company provides phenomenal communication and service, and extremely high ethical standards. When they were replacing the electrical panel, there was a dispute between the county permitting office and AEP, and Safe Electric was prepared to bring a whole home generator from an hour away to keep our home running. I needed a light fixture switched out and even though I had done it myself in the past, this one seemed a bit complicated. I found Safe Electric through Angi. It is the usual deal where they come for free but won't tell you in advance about how much they expect it to cost, though there is no obligation. Austin arrived on time. Be aware that before they do the job at hand, they inspect your entire electrical system and in my case, recommended a $9,400 job replacing the entire electrical service (again, no obligation).
