In 1952, a group state employees met for the purpose of forming a financial cooperative for co-workers and their families. From these beginnings, Safe 1 Credit Union was founded. The first Safe 1 "office" was actually a room located in the home of our first manager, with transaction receipts kept in a closet. My husband and I have banked with Safe 1 for many years, we’ve had several accounts and loans with them and continue to choose them for all our financial needs. Even after moving out of state, we continue to use them. They’re that awesome!
Safe1 Credit Union on Granite Falls Drive has always given us great service. Recently we moved out of state and we needed specific services on 2 occasions.
