Took my family here, for my son's 6th birthday. It was an awesome experience, we never got that close to a giraffe, ostrich and etc. everyone was so nice and especially the crew. Will definitely comeback here, we loved the tour. Next time will try the restaurant and stay overnight. Just a note, you need to reserve for the restaurant ahead of time if you don't wanna go through your kids telling you "mom lets eat here", smells so delicious. Two thumbs up for this place 👍👍

Excellent facilities, well-cared for animals, knowledgeable staff, and plentiful food that ranged from so-so to Wow! We got rides from parking lot to tent (more like luxury tree houses) and help unloading the luggage. We did a three-hour tour that included over two hours on the safari truck and the rest by foot at the smaller enclosures. The kids especially loved the cheetahs, the new baby giraffe, and many of the birds. Grown ups enjoyed many of the larger animals such as the Cape Buffalo. The staff were all fantastic and very accommodating. The tent cabins were very comfortable and the beds were awesome. The safari tour was fun and informative. Would like to go back sometime.

Safari West is just a great place to go with the family. The staff is super friendly and ready to assist in any way possible. We only had the opportunity to experience the tour, but just because everything else was already booked. It felt great, it was such an enjoyable day. I would recommend it to everyone.
