This was a once in a lifetime experience. We stayed the night in their glamorous tents surrounded by animals in their pens. Very pricey for a one nights stay with no Safari tour. All in all an awesome experience and glad we did it. The staff was great. Bring your own booze and listen to the howl of the animals under the stars!

� Surprised my husband for our 32nd wedding anniversary with a trip to a spectacular place .....Safari West. Located in Sonoma County CA. Had to share because this place is definitely not well known and needs to be. The experience was incredible! We went glamping (as they call it) with our 5 star tent with all the amenities of an upscale hotel. Waking up through out the night with all the exotic animal noises will not be forgotten. Check-in was a breeze. I recommend following all the suggestions they give. Book the lunch there and arrive early to hit the restrooms before your walk. Tad was our guide. He knew almost every animal by name. His personal touch and personal stories with and about the animals made the trip. After a little less than an hour, we took a quick break and headed out.
